The Great Press Conference - WAR Crafting Delights vs Sheol

A Press Conference was held outside of the Crafting Delights Company Guild House. Reporters had gathered as the non-magi mercenaries and Audhild soldiers stood at attention. All eyes laid on the companies Voice as he declared his intentions.

"Cinderella, where your threats of retaliation against us as well as revealing our Fel-Stores to the nations of Meranthe has been something that may stray the hands of many individuals, we will not be intimidated by you. Instead I will give you an ultimatum, release the companies assets or be met on the fields of battle by the combined forces of Audhild and The Crafting Delights Company.

We profit off war, this is something that is known through the lands of Meranthe.

Our reach stretches far, including the fel lands this is not hidden.

You however decided to make us an enemy, and for that we are forced to act. The company protects it's assets. This is war."

Is all the voice had to say before releasing the soldiers to the borders of Sheol.

A short few min later a drak could be seen drawing blueprints and writing reports he focused as he wrote a faint tapping could be heard allmost as if someone was knocking

"Cut it out you both dads working"
He'd turn around and yell

With that the tapping would only get worse
"Wha..who"

He would look to the 2nd story window through it a muffled voice could be heard

"Mr mooney a moment of your time? Id like to ask you about recent events within crafting delights" The reporter would say

He would be taken aback looking out the side window seeing a small mob


"Wha...who are... GET OFF MY LAWN"
"UMBRAAAAAAAAAAA"

There was no official missive sent out by Sheol following the declaration of the attack on their city. Rather, rumors were spread throughout the continent of the reaction from the City of Revelry's leadership. From the speed of the rumors' spread, it was likely something intentionally done. As if a certain someone had wanted it to happen, as her own way of taunting the spokesman of Crafting Delights.

The rumors say that Princess Cinderella, within hours of the news being broken, could be seen in Sheol's square, bursting out into uncontrollable fits of laughter as she addressed her people. When she had fully managed to compose herself, these were the words spoken to all who had assembled before her.

"Wow... just... wow!"

Once more does she burst out into laughter, taking a moment to contain her amusement.

"I have never seen a man commit career suicide so wholly and so readily in my short existence.
It is truly impressive, in a way I cannot express properly with words.

So, let me spell it out to you in full, for the whole world to see.

Umbra. Spokesman for Crafting Delights.
One who openly works with the Fel, shamelessly.
Citizen of Crimson Keep.

You are a moron.
You are without conviction.
You are a spineless coward.
I offered you the opportunity to have your employees back- merely fight me to the death, to settle this once and for all.
But you... you decided to bring your people into this. To get them slaughtered needlessly, when this could have ended between you and me. Even gave you incentive- only show up by yourself, and I don't say a single damn word about your company's dirty business.

It's true that the whole world knew of your dealings already, but you didn't have to get up and admit to it, did you? Now, there's no one left on your side to stop me from settling this decade-old grudge. But... such a thing is too boring, no? Let's put on a show.

Sometime after the news of the attack declaration by Umbra has settled, Benjamin Thomson got up on stand to address the citizens of Audhild.

"In my youth, I have seen the city attacked by the forces of the fel.

Undead preying on the weak, demons taking away the bodies of the dead before we get the chance to mourn and grief.

Throughout my years living here, tending to Audhild and its people? I have learned this:

As long as we do not stand and put up a fight to fend them off? They'll keep coming, to pick us off one by one.

Just like what they did to Sage and Miko.

If we'll comply to their threats? Their barbarous demand of blood duels of which they'll never follow through should they win or lose?

Then there will never be an end to it all, only giving them incentive to focus on another Audhild citizen for their next thrill.

To that? I say no.

No to us being preyed upon.

No to us responding to threats upon our life with complacency.
No to us standing frozen in fear.

No more, not ever.

Lastly? I'll like to end with this:

This coming battle shall have my full support, with me handing over supplies and equipment for any and all toops willing to stand up and fight.
And as to Cinderalla, who I heard claimed there'll be no one our side to oppose her?

After the speech, Benjamin used the opportunity to present a new outfit for the troops of Audhild, refashioned from the military equipment of the old guard during Zemheri's times to use as protection for who shall fight for the city's future:
