Why do you side with Sheol?
They are evil people that bring forth destruction.
Come to the side of light.
Why would someone like you stand with Sheol?
This a question I am asked countless times, my allegiance brought into question by many in the lands of Meranthe countless times.
But I understand, I truly do, for to them the concept of true trust in those you have aligned with seems to be a foreign concept.
Of being loved, of being wanted by those you stand by, where even in your darkest moments, there is a feeling of warmth given.
For the failures that wrack my body, the lives that were lost that I could have saved, and many things I could have done better but came short.
It was those of Sheol, of my family, and especially that of one I saw as a Father...that encouraged me to improve and move forward.
A level of peace that I am afforded by them I would find nowhere in the lands, as I have witnessed many lose faith when the truth is brought forward:
Their trust and protection are only as far as their need for you, as once that has run out, so will their goodwill...
But I find myself to truly be content with those who inhabit such lands. These lands, and the people who inhabit it I've promised to protect and help nurture their growth.
I promised my lord in his final moments that this land and those he holds dear will be protected. It is a promise and vow I assure to keep, as his loyal follower, and Sheol's Guardian.
