Weathering an emotional storm
#1
His teacher was gone, the yellow flash was no more. Not a word of why, or how, no information from his allies or his friends. It seemed as if they'd shunned the curious boy for inquiring on the man who'd inspired him to challenge the dark, to shine light where the unholy creatures crept. To face even time itself, in a downhill battle for the future of his family, his friends, and because of his own lineage. A storm brews nearest to the demon infested lands, the teen seeking revenge in his masters name. Even though he was a simple human, he'd show them all just how mighty his resolve was. How much he yearned to be truly free, and to share that freedom with all who were pure of heart, or seeking to be such.

It left him with unanswered questions, doubts of himself, his power, his intentions for those who he'd fought along side. Those he'd saved from the hands of evil. Those he watched die for showing no remorse. It often felt as if the cycle was going to repeat itself, over and over again. Each side fighting for what they believed in, the freedom to do such. He could only mourn those whose wills were snuffed like the weak flame of a candle in a blizzard, in his case, his enemies flames held to the storm.

After speaking with a few enemies, he could not fault them for wanting to express their free will. Often times it messed with his moral compass, to tear an enemy from their family, kin and comrades they showed emotions for, compassion, desire, and they fought just as hard as the "good" guys did, to make their dreams and ideas a reality. It was simply a battle of wills, a battle everyone had the right to give it their all in, no matter the cost.

"He wouldn't leave without thinking I was ready.. right..?
Did he even care to leave me any final words..?
I'm alone again, aren't I.. who do I have here?

Whatever, the job isn't finished, his will isn't done.
It wouldn't matter if I failed, the Lord of Time is strong..
Living across multiple timelines, that's an indefinite amount of experience..
Do I stand a chance.. on my own? No.. not at all.
Yet, I'll try my hardest, I've got everything to lose."
