There Must Always Be a Director

An announcement begins,

"People of Meranthe and the Frontier. I am Andes Moraine. Regardless of if you are familiar of me or not, there is something of importance I will be putting down upon this day. I have served the Proto-Institute for nigh 15 years, so I am proud to say until next year, I will be acting Director, of which then I will step up to take the seat and anounce myself as official Director of the Proto-Institute. This course of action will not be averted unless there is significant intervention - of which I doubt there will be any. The seat has been left vacant for far too long, the Frontier far too quiet. I cannot say that I have the ability to solve the problems of the Frontier myself, but I can assure you I am surrounded by people with great ideas to pair with my own. I hope you all have as much excitement as I do for such an event. End of announcement."

Due to the odd case of the missing previous Director, Andes Moraine is stepping up for the Director's seat.
