The Essharan Imperial Hospital
"For ours we care"

After a few years of planning and bureaucracy, and after the initiative idea of Seven, the financial and influential support of Priscilla cos Solenne and the practical medical experience of Agrien Vandroy, the official medical facilities of the Esshar Empire is now open and functioning, operating from the Imperial capital city of Osrona.

The Imperial Hospital idea was proposed and presented before the magistrate and eventually brought to Queen Petrakis, who after a series of bureaucratic and diplomatic ventures and meetings, approved the opening of the facilities and declared her support for the initiative.

Located at the center of Osrona, north-east of the central square, the Imperial Hospital serves the Empire as a whole as the centralized medical facility for those in need of treatment and care, providing it's services free of charge for any patient brought to it's doors and accomodating them with no prejudice or judgement. Every living being born under the Essharan Imperial rule will be treated equally for the medical organization.

For those interested in learning, the Imperial Hospital also serves as a medical educational institution, with lectures and lessons and offering practical experience free for charge for they who wish to enroll as an Imperial Nurse, and eventually join the ranks of the Imperial Doctors. Regardless of nationality or social class, those who wish to learn and develop their knowledge on the medical fields are welcome, for the Hospital is also ready to support medical research to further improve the quality and efficiency of our services.

Therefore, as of 1674 A.C onwards, the Essharan Imperial Hospital is open and ready to serve as the main center for medical treatment and education in within the Empire.

Late Winter - 1674 a.c.

A notice is posted on the staff bulletin of the Imperial Hospital, clearly to get to the attention of all medical staff. It reads:

In regards to the threat of demons that have arisen in our kingdom, it has come to my attention that there are some variants of this race possess a venomous bite. Since these creatures are not native to our lands, we've no antivenom for most of their strains and few venom samples to synthesize such medicines. If a patient is admitted to us with unknown bite patterns and symptoms of envenomation your safest bet is to draw as much contaminated blood out of them as possible and stabilize them with transfusion. The bites I've encountered aren't inherently lethal but were extremely debilitating and held an occultic taint. Any contaminated blood should be put into cold storage so the venom can be separated out for study and better treatment can be developed. If the Order captures or kills any of these venomous variants, we should pursue getting permission to harvest the venom to create an antivenom as well.   - Nomiki

And an addendum was tacked over just below the first. The handwriting looked shaky

At least one individual seems to feed on magi blood. We may need to run a blood drive and supplement our supplies. Between the dialysis patient and the cases of mass blood loss, I was forced to use quite a lot of my own fluids today.
