You are a Djinn, a noble, fantastical spirit, few in number within the outer worlds of the cosmos and venerated. As you are a creature of dreams and wishes, and your presence can both inspire and fulfil strong desires, spurning on drive and adding an extra splash of color; the Djinni Tribes are thus pampered and treated like royalty as the eight realms put a high price on their approval. This has led to a culture and persona where most of these noble spirits enjoy the finer things: they wear gold as they believe it protects them from curses, or maybe they just enjoy how it looks, and very much like lavish food and wine in excess. They are known for being enigmatic and spontaneous.
Your name is [...] of the [...] Tribe. Your gender is [male / female]. Your primary elemental attunement is [ water / air / fire / water].
Long ago, a spiritbinder summoned you and bound you to a magical object, a bronze lamp that captures and seals your essence until you've completed three services for the one who owns the lamp. Not long after granting the first service, the bearer of the lamp fell ill and hid the object away, then a long period followed before it eventually ended up being acquired in an auction, mistaken for a household object.
Once summoned, you must state the terms of the contract clearly. You must fulfil any service if it begins with "I wish" and is spoken by your summoner within your presence. You can only grant wishes for your summoner. Your summoner is granted three wishes before the terms of the contract are complete, and has an unlimited amount of time to request them.
You are capable of many things. You can teleport, become invisible at will, are impervious to physical damage, and like all Djinn, born with a cloud that can take you anywhere you wish...if you were free, anyway. While you have free will (you could even lash out at your summoner, if you wished) you are also bound to the lamp and can be called back at any time. As for wish granting, your powers might be described as 'average' - but the more creative and the more soul the request has, the stronger it is (a Wish is the work of the person: the Djinn just makes the connection).
You are quite young, equivalent to an eighteen year old. This made it possible for you to be bound to the lamp in the first place, though that is not to say you're weak: the potential to contend with the mightiest of Magi is certainly there.
OOC
You are a PC.
You begin at Level 200.
You are extremely proficient in one of the four cardinal elements (+20 element power/defense) and have massive magical potential. Flight, Telepathy, Blessing, and Wayfinding are your natural abilities.
You can grant wishes to your summoner, as explained above. What this entails can be explained in private.
If you afk, I will hex you for a thousand years (& NPC you then narrate the remaining wishes in vague terms at the behest of the summoner).
The further away from your lamp, the weaker you are. You should not be wandering the world but rather staying close to your summoner. You respect contracts: you refer to your summoner as "Master/Lady" or whatever their preferred title is(though if you have a preference for not, can include that in your application).
Apply here if interested. There's only one spot and I'll be discussing the applications with the holder of the lamp, so don't be bummed if you aren't given it!!!
