Scouts upon horseback are seen leaving and returning ever so often to and from Redrock, hawks carrying missives to the farthest reaches of the Silent Expanse, loud horns sounding throughout; something more easily heard within the dead of night.
But it wasn't like their usual war horns.
Those traversing farther into the desert would eventually see encampments signifying a journey had begun.
A call and notification had been made and sent out to those of the Golden Horde that had stayed behind as the initial group made their pilgrimage.
To follow their calling - the fires of their souls - to participate in the upcoming Kurultai to see the Khagun officially appointed, to partake in the newest Rite of Initiation, appointment of Keshig and perhaps a new role, and most importantly... To bring honour to their tribes, to reclaim the desert and collect and pillage in the honour of Tzernobog.
To allow themselves to fully embrace and appease the spirits and revere them, all in the name of the Dunedrake, for Redrock is their spiritual grounds.
Yes, even the few and far between Children of Altan hear such a calling to join their brethren, should they seek to answer it.
