Synopsis
Late into a quiet ordinary evening, as the children were eating their supper, and the knights began their shift change, a piercing scream echoed through the near empty stone streets of Osrona. None of the locals dared interfere with the attack- instead watching from the safety of their homes in horror as a helpless girl struggled against a ghastly, pale white child's attack. As soon as the event had begun- the nights air returned to it's regular stillness; an obvious sense of tension amplified by the near lifeless, mangled body of a once elegant young women.
Villagers slowly poured from their home, one by one; each following the other like children daring ask a nightly favor. As the crowd amassed it seemed only a wise decision to rush her to a healer; unaware to them, time was not in their favor. Just as the crowd rushed through into Osrona's square, the girl awoke from her coma-like state, screaming loud words of heresy against her once beloved capitol. Her family would attempt to calm the girl to no avail. When the cities guard at least discovered this hectic commotion, not even the highest mages in Esshar would predicted what happened next...

Contorting at the limbs, the young and crazed girl bent her arms back; lunging forward and vomiting a neon grey colour- those at the scene would go on to describe it's smell as, "- a burning sensation laced with the sour stench- similar to Grodon Venom!". The unfortunate girl didn't last more than a few seconds after these traumatic events; bleeding from her ears before collapsing to the cold stone streets below.
While the knights did their part in clearing the scene and questioning villagers, little concrete truth could be found; only that this young women's attacker seemingly crawled from the sewage drain, the victim attempted to help her assailant before being brutally disfigured. Her face had been completely shredded; skin ripped away by what could only be described as powerful bite marks. Utterly stunned and lost as to the reasoning and origin of this mysterious child baffled the knights. An expedition team of four lower soldiers were sent into the sewer. When they returned, they each seemed highly irritable, openly committing acts of heresy in front of commanding officers; which resulted in their incarceration, and later hanging.
While bringing the matter to the lords of Orsona, even their watchmen had been turned down for aid in this mystery. It was clear to the few knights and townspeople who hadn't given up on this mystery- they were on their own. Finally they would decide to
