Humanities golden age, their era of prosperity... Would come to be rivaled by the shadow cast by such a bright light. Death in its toll would only increase, bringing the graves at times to near capacity. Without those that'd tended to the locations? Some nations might've been forced to burn the fallen...

Maybe that'd be for the best?

Where there are those who seek a noble end, buried beside family. There were also those whom would crept in the dark. Skulking, waiting... Watching. And as the morning days would past, bringing fourth night. The arrival of crows, one-by-one. Day after day. A sighting being rumored to be spotted across the island. Had it simply been a migration of the sorts? Or was something more nefarious looming around the corner...
