The Meeting of Death

Upon a darkened night do two powerful magi clash. Within Meranthe, this is a frequent occurrence.
Yet this is altogether different.

The Wolf of Misfortune himself had been located by a younger magi, yet one who wielded equal magics as himself.
The area directly south of Vdalion, below the cliffs, tell the toll of their battle. Flora and fauna lay scattered in ruination and death.
There is not much left afterwards, the rotting corpses of the innocent animals and lesser daemons a testament to the vicious clash
of Ahriman and Lydia Dominic.

And yet one of them walked away a victor.
That same one walked away newly crowned with the Gilded Crown of Athelios itself.

Instead of immediately assuming the mantle of Oracle within Aphros, the Nephilim has another idea. Flyers are posted
at every pitstop across Meranthe, whether by her own hand or by couriers paid well it matters not.

Quote:
K'thul. You were destined to die years ago, and yet somehow, someway, you have managed to worm your way to
freedom each and every time. If you aren't a coward - which I suspect you are, given your failure to show up during
Abendrot's destruction - then you'll face me. You will pay for your transgression against murdering my brother, with your
own life. If you're too much of a coward to face me then just admit it, and allow yourself to be the laughing stock of Meranthe.
Don't keep me waiting.

Upon one of the posters spread across, a small message is pinned.
