Which Event: Way of the Wild Boar

Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?): Very quick, I barely had time to look away.

Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?): It's a relatively small risk event, for small reward too, so balancing was okay for it; but definitely could pump up the numbers & still make it feel fine.

Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?): It's good. We had to track down the large boar that was infused with the energy of Shadowlands and do an actual effort to it. Choices mattered as well, and depending on our actions it either got easier or more difficult.

Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?): Fair enough, not a big event and not a big pool of rewards.

Overall: 10/10

Any other comments: made me feel like its a blox event, which is good, considering that blox set the standard high

Which Event: Way of the Wild Boar

Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?): Actually insanely fast, dudes WPM were crazy.

Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?): It was only a small-scale event, we fought a boar, not an eldritch god. It could've been a little harder, but... three of us were kiters.

Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?): Unironically a fun time, the choices did matter and we were rewarded/punished for our respective paths, made for a good experience. We pretty much just played monster hunter.

Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?): It was only a small event, we all came out of it with rewards that I think were fair enough.

Overall: 10/10

Any other comments: Heard Bristle say "buff armed" or something, might've misheard. Fun little event though, anybody would've enjoyed it fr.

Which Event: Blitz the Fire Wolf

Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?): It all happened pretty quick and had a nice build up in announcements before hand.

Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?): The fight was a bit chaotic but that's just the nature of it being a public event and having so many people fighting at once. Otherwise it was fine.

Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?): Ya I hadn't experienced something just happening in the world like that yet, it was interesting and left me wondering who the wolf serves.

Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?): I personally wasn't rewarded but those who were punished seemed to get a tempt which isn't too bad.

Overall: I enjoyed it and look forward to more.

Any other comments: That fire dog had some nice animations.

Key/Character: Lion W. Folhammar
Which Event: The Folhammar

Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?): Very quick, kept us in the zone and even throughout the hours, there was little letup amongst the amount of effort that was placed into each one. A blessing, nothing less.

Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?): Fights were good. Extremely, difficult, but that's what one would expect from a HCOD. I think all around, the injuries we got were perfect, and it kept us knowing death could be around the corner with any ec.

Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?): The story telling was incredible. Touched over all of the lore I wanted and even gave us a funny yet, grim.. Family sequence. Rip the Hikers.

Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?) Incredibly well balanced, for what we did - I think the rewards were deserved, and they were rather bountiful. Full of dev, and injuries gifted only furthered those claims.

Overall: 10/10, would beg iceshadow to dm again.

Any other comments: Hire less verb monkey ecs. Shit had me sweating.

Which Event: The Folhammar

Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?): Fairly quick, yet allowed us moments to breathe and RP amongst ourselves when needed. No complaints; great stuff.

Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?): This is what heavily stood out to me. Arguably, if not definitely the best experience I've ever had in an event when it comes to battles. They were hard, harsh, and befitting the risk, but more importantly, the ECs seemed to follow patterns for most parts. It felt like a proper game boss battle where I can come out almost unscathed if I pay attention and play perfectly, but would get straight up wrecked for even smallest misstep (and I did get wrecked). Good stuff, amazing.

Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?): The overall plot was good, I liked the trials, characters introduced were very charming, and the plot twist at the end was amazing. Yet, I also had one major gripe; certain things were taken far too lightly. The intentions were to play some aspects off as jokes, which is usually fine, yet sometimes they don't work out and end up making things very awkward. Here, few characters were killed off by the party due to relatively light actions (such as grabbing, pulling, slapping, etc, with no intentions to cause any real harm. Mages should be able to control their strength!), without giving us any opportunity to save them while they bled out or to linger on the consequence. Now, killing some innocent kid can be a huge, pretty traumatizing deal ICly for certain PCs, so it becomes quite awkward to ICly continue afterward, specially without dwelling on that narrative in the aftermath, even if surrounding OOC can be made funny. It later became a running gag, and was treated as such, which is fine. But the first time around was eh.

Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?): Perfect. I was permed, yet no complaints whatsoever. It was worth it and more, and the rewards were narratively amazing. Also quite significant to several ongoing plot-lines, despite that not being an ask. Very considerate.

Overall: Very solid on many aspects, despite the select few gripes I had.

Key/Character: Periwinkle Folhammar
Which Event: The Folhammar

Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?): Great response time with affordable breathing room that allowed us to soften the mood in-between the darker story beats and the EC fights. I never felt like I had to ask myself when the post would come through because they seemed to enjoy pumping them out.

Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?): My favorite part of the event. I really enjoyed all the fights, particularly Bjornsson, son of Bjorn. All of them felt very fair but also challenging -- the mechanics felt varied but isolated and unique to each EC. I also really appreciated that as the wins continued, the EC's grew stronger and that many of our choices affected if the EC's grew stronger or weaker as a result.

Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?): The narration and storytelling overall exceeded my expectations. Whereas I assumed it would be a straightforward ascent to reclaiming the Folhammar (and technically it was), there were added elements to the event itself that made it feel more dynamic. The addition of comical story beats (and in particular, the Hiker brothers) alternating with darker elements made it feel like I was watching something from BG3 unfold. I never felt like I was bored or unintegral and I am sure other members of the event can attest that everyone had their 'moment'.

Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?): Yes. I walked away with a perm from the most difficult EC fight wanting more. Everyone walked away with a devmat useful either to them or in general.

Overall: Thoroughly enjoyed the event through-and-through. Would recommend. 5 stars on Yelp.

sword of the forsaken
character: miriam

I'll give a simple review of this event: gas. Everything from the battles to the narrates - though the narrates could've been a tinge faster and added more detail, it was sufficient enough. The stories that were made and finished in this event brought a joy to me that other events couldn't. And granted that I was a late time add, I was able to enjoy the thrills of it.

What I did not like was having three bone tremors making me out to be a sillypuddy to some child with learning disorders ripping me to shreads for 12k per tremor. But beyond that, everything was fair and balanced once a groove was settled into. But these things are mastered in time and never gained in a day.

It was a fast pace event with a nice send off where I was able to dom my husband from getting an evil sword by beating their ass as a one armed woman with 60 vit missing. I shouldn't have fucking won that. But through god's grace, I did.

Thank you for having me.

Which Event: something something Cornstarch

Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?): 10/10 very very fast responses and attempts to do stuff were successful

Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?): 8/10 I enjoyed the style of fighting, the only thing i disliked was the first fight Bone Zone boning me to death, causing me to 100-0 before i could even react, everything else was tame in comparison even if all of my downs were basically one shots. Was fun.

Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?): 10/10 I enjoyed it all

Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?) 0/10 i have to scene to apply my reward I hate this

Overall: 9/10 dm for me again thanks
