[Usurping The Mantle]

Following the declaration from Vdalion, the Prophet and Necromancer K'thul makes a proclamation of his own to those denounced necromancers and those who would find themselves interested in the stagnating art. 

"It was little over a century ago, when our art flourished. When the first Tal made his claim to the title, and ushered in the Golden Age of those who would defy death, and grasp their fates for themselves.

 

It was after him, did many take up his mantle. From Villaus Tal and his Perdition, to the Tal who resided within the high mountains of the giants within Vdalion.

 

 

Yet for their effort, they all shared a common thing. 

 

Failure, a weakness of being unable to keep what they've sought, to crumble before the nations that were all too eager to turn their daggers to them when their use had finished.

 

  

Incapable of maintaining the Golden Age, incapable of fostering the art of death. Instead of surpassing the stagnancy, they'd embraced it and become still as the corpses they'd risen. 

 

But no longer, shall this blessed art continue to dwindle. No longer shall we rot and wither unto nothing.
 

For I, K'thul claim the mantle of Tal. I take it as my own, and forsake those failures at which came before me. 

For by my will, shall I have my Golden Age, and by my will shall the resurgence of practice of defying death itself return to this land under me. 

It is thus by my decree, that those outcasts of our kind, that those souls which longer for something greater than what they have to seek me to learn from the gifts that Necromancy brings. 

 

But know that no great power comes for free, and traitors who would seek to use this art against it's new Master shall not be tolerated. 

 

Know thusly, that there will be a heavy sacrifice to give to drink from the splendor and grandeur of Necromancy. 

 

A tribute to paid with the spirit or vitae."

The self-claimed Tal makes a declaration, that all who seek to learn from him and his own are to come tonight.
