A grand gathering in the streets of Dal'thala is generated upon announcement of a very special day. The current Queen Aurona Caewynn, is introducing her eldest daughter to the realm.


Maeve Caewynn

Dor'alanor one and all. I, Maeve Caewynn, would like to thank you all for coming out to witness this occasion.  As many of you know, I am the eldest daughter of Aurona Caewynn, and Camino de Camino, my auspicious parents. I have observed much and more in my time in the city, and I have a few announcements I would like to make. As my time to enter the spotlight, as it were, is beginning.

Let me start by saying, I love this city, and wish to see it prosper to it's fullest potential. As such, with my position as princess and heir apparent, I will use my privilidge and take responsibility for reinstituting several old policies and practices that have fallen out of the graces of the realm. I wish to see our great nation restored to it's former glory, with all that entails.

As such, my first decree, is the reinstating of the Lightgarde. I, of course, will take command of it. And I encourage all able bodied men and women of all births, high or low, to join us in this endeavor.

Hushed whispers and claps come from the gathered crowd, some impressed by the regality and forwardness of the princess. Others put off by her attitude and words of reclaiming 'past glories'.

Furthermore, I would like to thank the men and women of the Elzara for their outstanding service and dedication to Dal'Thala and her people. I wish to honor the sacrifices of those that have fallen in the line of duty, including a very close retainer to the Caewynn family. In that sentiment, the people of Dal'Thala, I have one thing to ask of you.

Why is it, that we allow the undead to taint our streets, and witches to walk among us? To desecrate the memory of the fallen who have come before us, making a path for us to grow and walk into the future upon? I say no longer. Let there be no misplaced sentiment for those who are born of, or immerse themselves in the evils of the world. Undead and Witches can expect mercy from us, yes. The mercy of a quick, painless death.

To that end, I encourage all sovereign citizens of our great nation to expunge and bring to light any and all who harbor these forces. For they are not welcome in Dal'Thala. And those of us who would hide and protect them, are traitors.

Unlike the previous statements of the princess, the latter part is met with ubiqitous agreement. Shouts of support from those affected by the fouler magics of Meranthe. A gathering zeal of approval forming around the royal Faeborne.

Let us walk together into a better future for all, my friends and companions! For we are all of one nation, one purpose and one people! We shall usher in a new era of peace and prosperity to our great city, the likes of which have not been seen for decades! Adell aul eruna, my people. I look forward to the time we shall spend together.

With the final words of the princess stated, she returns to the Caewynn estate. Awaiting her thirteenth birthday, when she shall join the realm in a more official capacity.
