His Light
#1
[Image: 1.jpg?ip=x480]

I took my stand and freed myself from chain and shackle. Compliance was always a weakness of mine until I snapped.

My instincts told me to swim further into the depths. The darker it got the more I could see, the deeper I descent the weigh of life laid upon my shoulders. That weight soon turned light, light in both freedom and his own.

The shallow water called for me, filled with snakes and eels. They shout my flaws and sins, the heaviest of stones will drown me.

I love them, why can't they see? I want them but they continue to scream. Does my care not express from inky black waters?

My words are seen as an angler, a little lure to a bite. I want them to change for I know how daunting the world is.

The past doesn't matter but what I do now, no word or action can change what I'm viewed as. They all think me too far gone but I am just the same. No porcelain mask hides my intentions nor my face, I carry the same vibrance as I did before.

I am with flaws but aren't others? Please Chosen, please see my side. Grab ahold before his petrifying Eye.

Under his beams of light I dwell in dark. I'll always be facing you, always reaching out to you.

With beating heart in hand, I hope you forgive.
