Since the planning to establish the colony in the desert, there was a notable interest in the crevice that was there by the Director of the Proto Institute - after all, its depths was not plausible to see..
 
What could be hiding there? What could they find... Was there a cave that they could establish a mine in there, from which they could extract resources?
 
It was time to find out and there was only one way to do it, by going deep into the dunes. So.. Preparations were made, Drones sent out from the start to gather information - before a team was assembled for this expedition.
