• The powers within Aphros have changed. After a series of fights, an unconscious Hadrian Dominic is crowned as the new oracle.
  
  
• The position of Herald is declared abolished the moment that he sets foot in Aphros. The council shall be formed on merit, not birthright.
  
  
• The Oracle declares, also, that the position of Oracle is to not change with the crown.
  
  
• As of now, the next Oracle shall be decided in 2008 through a trial. It was spoken that it would be a tournament, but the means of it are wont to change should Enarr reveal the need for such to the newly crowned Hadrian.
  
  
• Political deals are held off for the moment; Their current status is generally referred to as pending, a status to change once more urgent matters are resolved.

Blood for Sins

A public self-flagellation takes place in the square of Aphros, one shared by both the new oracle, Hadrian Dominic, and the old one, Vaelrun Emris.

It seems that they have reached a few agreements. It was explained that the former oracle, Vaelrun Emris, is not willing to take the crown himself once again. Instead, he has subjected himself to service under Vdalion as a self-inflicted punishment.

On the matter of self-inflicted punishment, Vaelrun and Hadrian both speak that it is of their own volition that they take these. Both are wounded enough to stain the ground underneath the statue with a pool of blood, accompanied by prayers from priestess Noelle Glaidd to sanctify the crimson ichor and purify them of their sins, allowing for those to be excised through the open injuries, in a true fashion fitting the Church of Aspera.

More importantly, there is the last matter. With Solomon secured, the oath of the former oracle is broken; Cited as part of the reasoning for the flagellation withstood by the two figures at the front of the display.

Change in Command

A public announcement is made from within the keep of Aphros, spoken in the dead of the night, but then repeated by the town's criers throughout the day.

A new Oracle has been decided by the current bearer, Hadrian Dominic. The mantle of Oracle is to pass, along with the crown.
The newfound heir is Lloyd Astrid, former Knight Captain of the Bastion.

So is the will of Athelios.
