Long Live The Queen

In the year 2003,
The song of Caewynn played for the Reaper,
A fractal, discordant tune,
Without pace or rhythm,
Only destructive desire.

IN THE ABDICATION OF FAIR QUEEN KITCHI FONSAITTE,

ALL RISE BEFORE OUR NEW RULER,
VIRTUOUS AND JUST,
TEMPERED AND PROUD.
LONG MAY SHE REIGN,

QUEEN ELANIL CAEWYNN.

Quote:News travels of a battlefield on the outskirts of Aphros. Commander Elanil Caewynn and Captain Vendaril engage against half a dozen Aphros soldiers. It concludes with a retreat by Delphina's forces, Captain Vendaril's eyesight robbed of him by Caliel Al'britu, and Elanil bringing home a prisoner- Kingmaker Solomon.

It is said that the Lady Caewynn cut through three fighters in a row- and an intervene- to bring her prisoner, while Captain Vendaril valiantly held off the exiled Caliel to buy time for them to escape with their prize.

Upon returning home, the crown was passed to Elanil- whom had already been named heir at the attempted revolt beforehand.

A time of great reforms is ahead of Delphina.

Regarding Solomon, the following is said, without wasting any flowery words.

Quote:He is still alive. I have written to thy Oracle about the situation already. Mine demands are simple. The head of Caliel Al'Britu, or his captured and helpless person.

No mention of those underneath his command, suggesting they were free to do what they pleased.

It seemed a fitting and dramatic time to turn the crown, as with the great old king Dalrihar of the first age, returning after a glorious victory.

There may, however, be a celebration announced soon.
