The Black Knight's Vigil
In the forests between the fascist state of Osrona and the murderous agents of chaos in Moonfall stands the twisting battlegrounds of Esshar
There is little standing between the common-people and unsavory fates. To live in poverty is to resign to a life of suffering. To escape to the freedom of Moonfall means bearing witness to their atrocities and even participating-- should you be allowed inside.
And separating yourself to live on your own makes you a target to both sides, an outsider of Osrona to which there is no one to answer to when the Knights have their way.
Another sacrifice in Moonfall's latest soul-brought weapon.
Rest assured, the people have somewhere to turn. For two years now, a figure identified simply as The Black Knight has been patrolling the grounds between Osrona and Moonfall and lending their blade to commoners in need. Be it at the hands of the crazed soldiers of the forests, bandits, or the Knights of the First Light, the Black Knight consistently shows up to aid those in need. No one has jurisdiction over the forests, and it seems the Black Knight will not allow them to claim it.
But what difference will One Knight make?
