Following the vague advice of the Primordial Misfortune, after he so callously nearly injured of one the crew's sailors, Captain von Mare had received a multi-page report by his Man-At-Arms regarding what guidance Misfortune offered for the purposes of exploring the tower. It was heeded, and after two years of surveys of the seas surrounding the tower, the crew found absolutely nothing, aside of course for some particularly unusual sea creatures.
One had many teeth.
Alas, all things being the same, the crew would eventually find the entrance to the famed runegate. Hidden not within the true ocean, which could have saved -many- cases of the bends, and -much- time but the small ocean within Floor One. The crew left slightly annoyed with some rather misfortunate word games, they note the location of this gate, and prepare themselves to breach the mysterious Tower of Aetius.
Let's hope those entities of the spirit-realm don't see us lads.
We don't want out loot being destroyed out from under us.
