Arcana - Community Organized Duels

Arcana now has a dedicated group in-game!
Spectators and Duelists alike are welcome to join if they are interested in regular tournaments!

To join, seek out any duelist who is affiliated with the guild and request entry.

After a few days, you'll be verified by Bea Dayndros or someone of similar standing and given the power to initiate duels, participate in regular tournaments, and obtain super rare cards from Bea's own collection!

Arcana is a card-game played by people all across Esshar! The game has seen a surge in popularity after a recent tournament that involved the forces of evil! To better organize duels and social activities, a group has been put together so that duelists from all walks of life can meet! Once you register and agree to follow a set of rules, you'll be eligible for Arcana tournaments, events, and get-togethers!

RULES:
1) The feuds of other territories do not extend to the Arcana guild, and it is expected that violence does not ensue. So long as someone isn't like a literal baby-eating monster, they will (generally) be welcomed. This will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
2) In the case these feuds DO become a problem of the guild, they will be solved through the only way we know how; A DUEL.
3) Any and all issues are to be solved with a duel.
4) Duelists may challenge each other to 'wagered duels,' in which an item of significant worth is wagered on both sides. It can be overseen by someone of substantial standing in the guild.
5) Never, ever, EVER steal a fellow duelist's cards, unless it is through a wagered duel.
6) Please follow the Arcana rules at all times.

REWARDS:
As a member of this guild, you are subject to multiple rewards and benefits!
These include:
  - Weekly tournaments that result in special prizes!
  - The opportunity to win your own custom playmats!
  - Get-togethers with like-minded people for all of you bored duelists out there!
  - The chance to trade cards and find that rare card you've been looking for!
  - Romance?! Love?! Probably not...

*** Disclaimer: I was forced to put this here in honor of the sport, but I'm definitely the best. I only lost that tournament because of one stupid card. Bronze?! Really?! I could totally win the run back. I'm the greatest duelist ever. I'll prove it too! Just wait, my rivals! I'm coming to destroy you!

yeaaah woooooo card games wooooo

The Arcana guild has been picking up steam! Several new members and duels have been held! Thanks to a collaboration with Starfall Academy, the Academy grounds is now being used as the main meeting spot for any and all Arcana-related things! It is neutral territory, and as such, everyone (except the exceptionally evil/demonic and murderers alike) is welcome. Breaking of this treaty will lead to persecution and banishment from any future events.


Given the state of the political-climate of Esshar, we find it prudent to remind all participants that:
  - The conflicts of countries have nothing to do with Arcana. Refrain from bringing them up or acting on them in guild-spaces.
  - Our current main meeting spot is Starfall Academy! A card-shop will also be opening up there.
  - Please do not keep your ARC-Vision out while fighting! They're expensive to make and might break!!

Please come by to Starfall to enjoy a duel or two!

FUTURE EVENTS:
  - An Arcana lesson for any confused who want to get into it will be held sometime soon! It will be announced here.
  - A new tournament is in the works! Rumors state that it'll be a currency-based event that relies on victories to scale up.
  - A new type of card has been discovered with a mysterious magic... it's likely that it'll come into play in the next big tournament!
