While the nations go to war... those that crept in the dark take advantage of the chaos.

Villages in the northern expanses of Esshar have seen a dramatic increase in raids and attacks by monsters, mainly Giants. That go devouring livestock, destroying crops, robbing caravans,
and reportedly eating women and children with their new founded appetite.

The Governor in charge is helpless to do anything, as he has little manpower and resources to spare in fighting the new menace that plagues the land. Their young men being drafted to fight in distant lands far from home. With no other choice, he decides to call upon mercenaries to solve the problem. Offering what little finances they have as a reward, as well as a promise to anything the giants have taken.
The White Eye Company seeking to establish its name to be more than just a gathering and crafting guild takes up the request.

Dear Governor,

The White Eye Company has seen your request and will take up your offer. As I draft up a team to adequately deal with the response. Make sure you have some good food and drinks for our party's arrival. The journey to your estate is a long and treacherous one due to recent events. However, don't think we'll be staying any longer than we have too after we are finished. If anything returns after we do our job. You'll have to hire us again. Remember, its just business...
