From the depths of the Drakwald jungles comes the howling madness of the Iron Legion's horde of monsters, occultists, and other fel-things of the dark. Pouring through the lands of the Promethia as they amass upon the borders with Osrona. Awaiting the command to begin their march against the land of light.
 

"Claim the stones, we will need them for the construction of our siege-craft. Slay any who stand in your way!"

A march that would take them to the blood-soaked stones of the old Quarry. A needed economic base to allow the creation of proper siege-weaponry. This was no raid but the first steps in a long campaign with the singular goal of Osrona's destruction clearly communicated.

The battlements and ancient tunnels surrounding the Quarry witness a flurry of activity. The armies of the Legion push forward unabated. The sounds of wardrums beating and fifes playing rise into the air, performing songs of serpent and spider. In the villages of the Kingdom, Celestialist prelates preach the end of times.

Astride the symbols of the Iron Legion are the vermilion banner of a blade piercing the heavens and machinist symbols of old. Composites of every nation wronged by House Pelleaux unite for one purpose:

Conquest or Ruin.

50,000 crowns have been donated to the war effort.

Legions of monsters thrown back, cast aside.

It is a vicious, overwhelming defeat that the darkness suffers at Osronas swords.

Culminating with the death of The Night Stalker of Esshar, Rajak.

They are forced into hiding to regroup.
