A tournament is being held within depths of the Dreadwoods by no one other than Cynthia Vanreth herself, she steps from her dark throne, to outside, with a public announcement.

"At last, I've been with the community of Dreadwoods for nearly fourty years, ever since my birth. But eleventh hour is coming nigh, as it comes for most of us, the bell tolls. And I know what I must do... And it is my duty as the Overseer of the Eclipse Coven and the Dreadwoods community to host festivals, parties, and much, much more. How about we enjoy ourselves... And give in to the night of debauchery, violence... And of course, power trips? Should you come out at the top, I shall grant you the highest reward I could bestow... That being, the Blessing of Ravens."

Along with the poster, the rewards are listed.

1st place: 30.000 coins + 'Blessing of Ravens' + Full Access to the Overseer's library.
2nd place: 15.000 coins + Partial Access to the Overseer's library, including information like Fleshcrafting, and minor notes of Riftmancy
3nd place: 10.000 coins + An unique pendant (may be cursed)

Only denizens of Dreadwoods may attend, although Allies (such as those from either Novus or Prometheia) may attend with a simple letter sent to the Overseer stating their full name, age, magics. And their REASON for attendance. Although such will not guarantee a position in the Tournament.

The Tournament is focused mostly on the age bracket of teenagers and young adults, favoring younger generation. Although exceptions might be made if you ask the Overseer beforehand.

due to raising mental health issues on my side, this will be delayed for unknown amount of time until I get myself together.

Instead, it will be ran by Mors. Cynthia's creation, the 1st place reward will be a seperate scene later on. However all the other rewards (library access, coins, unique pendant) will be given out by him.

i will relay to him challengers from Novus/Promethea so that they are able to attend as well, so if you dm'd me your letter, you don't have to worry about not getting the place in the tournament.

Though Cynthia Vanreth had been busy with current projects, her loyal creation proposed an idea to keep the tournament going, such tournaments were good to observe, to learn and teach himself more about the different fighting styles of the warriors within Esshar.

For that reason, he made it sure to take over the organization of the tournament and make sure it runs smoothly.

"Mistress Cynthia is busy working on her projects, so I have been appointed to watch over and start the tournament. Mors will be happy to be your host."

With that, the creature made sure word is spread out - through the bats of the dreadwoods; whispers here and there within the dark, empty swamps call forth to worthy warriors, to make sure the tournament is ran.

Those within Novus and Promethia receive their invitation via somewhat horrified non-magi that were wandering around the wrong areas of the world, Mors made sure to teach them a lesson and use them as his own messengers.

In case anyone is concerned about the rewards, they'll be the same, the first spot however will be delayed for another scene with Cynthia later on.

They just need some time to process IRL happenings and whatnot, and I know they were looking forward for this event, which is why I'm running it for them!

I hope you all have fun and enjoy it, I'll do my best to balance the match ups properly and make it an unforgettable experience for all those who sign up and participate.

A letter was wrinkled up and tossed directly at Cynthia and their mutant master creation. From where? Who knew?
What would be known when the letter opened was ... That someone intended to win.

With the tournament coming to a close, only three people were crowned winners out of twenty two participants.

At the first place, we have Virion, the champion of Darkness.

At second place, we have Sol Vanrouge, a man without confidence in his skills - though this proved that he could show down with heavy hitters.

At the third place, we have Eliam Wriths, a strong soldier from Promethia, with admirable skills.


All three will be given their rewards shortly.

Thanks to anyone that attended the event, hope it was fun! Kodus to Knawlidge at the end, running the EC and taking over injuries, handing over the items after the last narration.
