A public audience with the head of the Celestial Church is announced.

Members of the clergy and interested citizens of the Shimmering City are quick to gather to hear what their Stellus had to share.

 

 

 

 

"The Crown has been succeeded.
The First Light has found it's new Lightbringer.
Only the Celestial Church has yet to exchange an old relic of the past.
 
I was never meant to lead our faith.
Even leading my own House was never what I truly desired to do, deep in my heart.
My purpose lied with the Keepers, to serve and protect our ideals against those who would challenge our religion, until my dying breath.
 
And yet, I was tasked to lead both.
I must always walk the path our stars have laid out for me.
It is both my blessing and my curse.
 
My children are growing closer and closer to coming of age, and my focus has been split preparing them to lead both Houses.
Our faith deserves better than that.
It deserves a leader devoted to the Church, and the Church alone.
 
I could not have asked for a greater warrior in Andriel, our High Keeper.
I could not have asked for a greater scholar in Raffiel, our High Priest.
You have both served our faith in exemplary fashion, fulfilling your roles to the furthest extent.
 
But a Stellus requires qualities of both branches.
Both warrior and scholar, seeking celestial justice and knowledge in tandem, wielding them as shield and sword.
I have only one person in mind whom has delved into both fields enough to fit this role.
 
I am hereby officially announcing my retirement and introducing you to your new Stellus of the Celestial Church;
