time waits for none

A tear stained message was carried to the Dreadwoods. Nanzo was the primary recipient, but the sheer mass of letters that were written could lead one to believe it was meant for the entirety Nanzonia.

Nevertheless they all conveyed the same message.

Quote:
"Face me.

I may not have been able to see long, but I've seen all I've need to in order to learn none of you deserve life like he did. So I invite any of all of you to learn what it was like to feel death as he did.

And if you do not face me, I'll seek you out.

You can run, but you cannot hide.
You can sleep, but you cannot rest.
You can fight, but you will not win.
I'm coming.

You will regret killing Ciel vey Pelleaux.

I'll make sure of it."

Time awaited no man, woman, or child.
Nor would it wait on the whims of monsters.
Armani Dayndros had no mercy remaining for denizens of the Dreadwoods.
Step by step he'd hunt down them all.

A blood-soaked sack was left at Galamea's gates, only to be discovered by Armani. What exactly is contained within? The messenger's head was cut, and a message was found within said mouth.

Quote:
"There is a saying that when you emerge out of a storm, you are not the same person who went into it. That is the essence of the storm. When you can't control what's happening to you, you can control how you react to it; this is where your power lies.

Isn't it amusing? If you aren't dark on the inside, coming to this world will make you dark, how does it feel Armani?

I'm waiting for you at the farthest reaches of these dreadful forests; are you brave enough to march?

From yours truly, Nazo Tyranny."

Quote:
"I think you misread my message.
This isn't a duel.

It's slaughter. It's a hunt.

You may sit at the darkest corners of the Dreadwoods for as long as you like, but you'll leave eventually. And if not you it'll be your family, your friends.

Time is your only saving grace. I will find you eventually...

Where no eyes or ears can experience your agony."

His message was clear.

Honor had been abandoned, at least when dealing with these dark beings.

The vast forests and plains would be Armani's chosen battlefield, and time was not something he would schedule.

He would allow the timestream to act on his own, bringing these fateful encounters as they came.

From the depths of her library, the Overseer observed. Through myriads of familiars by her side.

An eye, that saw all.

And like that, a simple letter was sent, with a peculiar mark.

Quote:
"You claim that you will hunt all of them. And yet you think I shall grant you such luxury? Do you think that you will simply ambush all of my people one by one? Don't jest me. I won't grant you a chance to do that so easily."

"You'll have to think smarter than THAT, smarter than just running through these lands if you wish to face the flock of Nanzonia and slay each one of us."

From this point onward, the Overseer heavily suggests all of the Dreadwoods denizens to travel in packs and groups. Although it isn't an enforced rule, but a suggestion. It's heavily emphasized upon. Should one be injured, she will also act as a main medic. Utilizing her mastery in the arts of Fleshcrafting to assist the denizens with both temporary, and permanent injuries.

Letting the timestream flow as it wanted wouldn't cut it for the Elder Witch, thus, she challenged the Armani by herself, however not with a clash of blades. But with wit and tactics.

This would also serve as a part of her official return. Reintegrating as a support pillar that keeps the Dreadwoods stable. An omen could be felt that this message wasn't the only thing coming around.

The heart of man was an unparalleled force. Above the occult, the blade, and even the stars. Unlike those a man's burning heart knew no bounds, nor could be chained to the limits of mortality. The tether to reality was broken. Time nor space could hold that will down.

When a man's heart was set ablaze, it would burn with an everlasting fire that could not be put out.

Quote:
"I hope you all haven't forgotten. Let me remind you.

I'm still hunting. My search is not over. You cower away in the Dreadwoods for months on end, but when I find any of you. I will strike.

Allow your own Tyrant be living proof. I made sure he won't lay a hand on any of my loved ones ever again.

Mere seconds sat between his death, and it is mere seconds you all will have before the rest follow suit.

I pray for each and every one of yours souls the moment you step away from those accursed lands. I'm watching and waiting for the opportunity to make you all feel what I did. Your demise is only getting closer.

You're running out of time."

A dismembered arm was shipped to the Dreadwoods in a timely fashion. The package seemed large enough for two, but maybe the Dayndros had neglected to throw in the extra.

Nevertheless his message was clear.

Any and all who supported the Dreadwoods should fear for their lives.

And now he had proof supporting each and every word.
