The Nightdaughter's Return

Slowly gathering in number, strange reports begin coming in across Esshar.
Sightings of bats, snakes, and spiders behaving oddly.. all with glowing violet eyes.
Entire flocks of the flying mammals seen, and those who near them?
Just might hear them whisper into their thoughts.

"The Nightdaughter has returned."
"Her daughter has returned."

Though the strangest phenomena yet finds itself concentrated upon the Shimmering City,
where the sanctity of dreams are once more threatened.
Foul nightmares begin plaguing some citizens, as they once did so long ago.

Oddly enough, for those with a foothold for darkness to hold onto?
The dreams weren't nightmares at all, but an invitation.

The words of Ivory herself lingering in their minds.
