(The LAAA logo has been replaced on all versions of these postings, a note is attached from Taipan Lewra: "It was not a womb tattoo, grow up.")
Who doesn't love a good celebration?
We at LAAA know that tensions in Esshar are quite high... a true shame. While we still work towards our own pacifist endeavors, we recognize it is not our place to dictate the conflicts of all our great nations. Still, there is no reason we can not lighten the mood.

We would like to formally invite all of you, all those in Esshar civilized enough to put their differences aside momentarily, to participate in the putting together of a celebration. This may be a lengthy process, but it is our belief that this is exactly what we all need! We will endeavor to put together a grand event, one that unites us before we return to the conflicts we believe are necessary. Though we could attempt to put this together ourselves, we believe that giving all the great nations and factions of Esshar to show us their contributions to culture and festivities. A chance to not only show your civility, but one to give your enemies a little taste of the art and talents you are capable of producing!

We are seeking out all capable of providing culturally significant contributions to the festival! Gatherers and chefs to create a unique feast unparalleled, musicians and artists to put on grand shows, innovators and researchers willing to show off innovations... this is a celebration of all of Esshar, and we'll be keeping score of who contributes what! The better we do, the better we are rewarded.

What will we be celebrating? The arrival of a new power! As our quillbearer has stated, a higher being has made contact with him and declared him his chosen. This being refers to himself simply as Asmodai. Claiming to be a collective manifestation of civilization itself, he has taken quite an interest in Esshar! Asmodai would like to descend for the festivities, to speak with us Essharans and bestow a protective blessing to those who participate. Our quillbearer, Taipan Lewra, will be taking care of explanation henceforth!

Please don't kill each other or me over this, please.

This is a message from Taipan. The PR team can sometimes be too easily excitable, a lot of my instructions were not quite followed. Let me clear up some things, I know all the dangers of allowing an alien and powerful being to walk our lands. I am not stupid, I've talked to it comprehensively, and I've managed to get it to sign quite a number of contracts. If it does descend, I can send it back by simply willing it away. Also, I am not 'aligned' to it, it is the one attached to me if anything.

A quick message to the Ebonblooded, Osrona, worshippers of helish patrons, and all who are very religious. MY first impression of Asmodai was that they were a god or an angel, but when pressed on the matter it refused any such title. Asmodai claims to be a collective manifestation of all civilizations. My studies have shown that it could be possible that established civilizations create beings that watch over them and subsume their traits, Asmodai is specifically a collection of them. It requests no worship, and when asked, humbled itself to be beneath all those that do. According to it, religion is a subsect of culture, culture is a subsect of civilization... and thus he was born with a reverence to the very concept, and a fond neutrality to the other powers. For the love of whatever you may worship, you do not NEED to kill it immediately, at least wait to see if it is at all a threat. Then we can kill it.

As you can tell from my tone, I am not a religious sort. Asmodai speaking to me does make me more concerned with it than others, but simply seeking me out is not enough to get me to worship it. Despite that, it remains willing to let me be the bridge between it and Esshar. I think allowing it to descend could be interesting, not only for research, but also because of the blessings and gifts it has offered. I think everyone appreciates gifts, and Asmodai is quite capable of handing them. The festival would also simply be nice to have.

If you are the type that can't stand the sight of your enemies and would disrupt endeavors to kill them, please just brood elsewhere. If you are capable of tolerating them for a short amount of time so that you can prove that you are better than them, then you are all invited. This invitation is blind. I do not care if you've tried to kill me, if you are willing to parley then you can participate.

There will be a message from Asmodai to each nation and faction posted shortly, recited verbatim. For now, I will simply coordinate efforts and let this sit... do reach out, show everyone else what you and your civilization can do.
