A cold message.

"Rumors travel through the night, carried by the breeze's whispers all the way to the highest mountains. To be precise, the north."

Quote:
I've been wondering about it every day I've been here.
How did all of these people allow it to get to this point?
Minds and bodies have been ruined, and dreams of freedom have been erased.
Personalities were vaporized.
Nobody would go to war if they knew what it would do to them.
But it's not like we all knowingly jumped into this hell; some of us were pushed.
Some of us were pushed by other people, while others were pushed by the environments in which we grew up.
Despite the fact that only a few people willingly jumped into this hell?
Look at it another way.
They can also see something beyond this hell.
Hope.
In the name of Kraus, we say, by the power invested in me by Lyzel.
Justice will be done.

Veero Naysien.

Sickening, isn't it? Such a Dragon like yourself would go to the extent of killing a mere woman without many ways of defending herself. Aren't Drakanites suppose to be prideful, or are they cowards?

"My, my, you've brought some attention to this cat, my dear Veero Naysien. For a Darkanite
who hardly works, goes on a few expeditions, barely makes a appearance without a pack,
and magically seems to improve with new techniques, I dare say you're a coward, Veero.
That goes for all of your kins, except one in truth."

"Lexius seems to be the only one fitting to be born a Drakanite; he's ideal for rulership
to change things back to the way it's suppose to be."

"You see, Veero, word travels fast, yes. I'm not that all impressed; you've gone to the extent
to maltreat a woman, a woman who hardly put up a fight? You're a sick weakling.
I can't find no other words to describe someone who chooses to clash with a defenseless woman.
Up until this point, I've grown bored of wandering around Esshar, watching from afar, and growing as I usually do.
Frankly, up until this point, I had no means to kill another
up until now..."

"You best stay inside, boy, and don't leave your doors. Travel in a pack if you must,
cause when I get you Veero...I'm going to treat you like a slave, on your fours
begging me for your life. I'm going to teach you
the proper ways to maltreat a person when the spikes from below pierce
your skin as you bleed to death. Veero Naysien, you've angered me deeply;
you've awakened me from my dreams. When I catch you out there, Veero,
lights out, I'm coming."

"Why yes, by all means, leave the safety of your walls."

As a reminder, anyone who captures and brings the kin-murdering Alwin to Mikhail pyr Docro alive will receive thirty-thousand coins and three pieces of arcanium.

"Many fear the cold embrace of death.
You two welcome it."

The Dragoon was blessed, or cursed, with confidence like no other. His gilded eyes looked down upon any who crossed his path.

The two Osronans that had called him out were no different.
Inferior.
Unable to stand true against a dragon's might.

"Many ask why I wield the power of the cosmos and light given my heritage. I thought the answer was simple.

To show the people of Osrona how futile their efforts really are. The same stars they worship will become the root to their demise. The light they praise will be the end to that precious city as they know it.

Your religion is my weapon, and I'll be sure to kill you both using it."

The Dragoon would show no mercy.
Sacrosia's next feast was incoming.
Veero's obsidian wings would threaten to eclipse the stars.

"I haven't forgotten, Artyom... I'll claim vengeance for you next, big bro."

"Many men riding stallions can be seen leaving the shimmering walls of Osrona and climbing the mountains to the north. The pack is led by a known Magi of the celestial order.
The Celestial Magus, Andriel. The march has begun. Who will come out on top?"

"Life is an unending journey.

To see something new, you must first create that path for yourself.
There will always be someone carrying the will to do good, just as there was someone carrying Naysien's will.
But I'm confident that with your ending, her flames will not be extinguished.
But one day... one day... I'll put out the fires.
Your screams haunt me, but for the time being, please allow me to lay your soul to rest, Veero Naysien."

The slaying of Naysien Veero and leaving his brother on the verge of death laying on the battlefield spreads like wildfire. Andriel, the Celestial Magus, promises a brighter, more peaceful future, as well as the return of Baleford Bridge and reclaiming the mountains.
He's even said to have a message for the Death-Magi!

"I will not be afraid as I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, because your time is coming..."

Word reaches the aging Denfather of his son's passing over dinner with his monogamous girlfriend, at a nice monogamous restaurant.

To the man's killer, whose name he fully understands to rhyme with aerial, or malarial... he issues a word.

With hand poised to wipe the honey-mustard sauce from his chin, the words come as follows,

Quote:
"I'm kind of in the middle of something right now."

What else is exchanged with his monogamous significant other is unknown, but it's believed by alleged witnesses, he walked her home and kissed her good night after the fact.
