As a final addendum to this post --before I retire completely--, which I believe is still largely applicable (save the stat standards for uniques) primarily in regards to formatting, here's a few item apps from E3 that I either made myself, or was involved in. I think each of them show a considerable amount of story-telling through item creation, which is a personal favorite aspect of mine in regards to such.

Majin Okabe - Raijin's Lament [The Oni Mask]

A mask of an oni forged from the legendary scythe of the blackstar.

Samson Aertas - Fleeting Answer

A quill-dagger forged at the behest of the infamous Marie pyr Docro prior to her outings into regicide.

Samson Aertas- Final Answer, Penumbra

A second reforging of the legendary rifle, formerly belonging to Nero and Bruno pyr Aertas.

Merlin rei Pelleaux - ARCHIMEDES III

A suit of mechanical armor forged for the famed Owl prior to his exposure as the Crown Prince of Osrona.

The cape of the Last King of Osrona. A beacon of Wisdom and Justice alike.
