Humanity.
It is a concept that only exists in the minds of the arrogant.
The product of defined societal morality.
The 'true' direction of the compass by which many live their lives.
Yet when held beneath the glass, the flaws of this construct are revealed.
Humanity is but an excuse for weakness.
To have an alibi for the fragility of one's resolve.
It's only those capable of viewing past this rose-colored lens that truly understand.
Who possess no compass to guide their way, but carve their own reality.
No matter the cost.
Like a blade these brave few cleave through these false illusions of existence.
These brave few who abandon their humanity to be something more.
To sever the threads of fate, and redefine reality.
No longer bound am I.
