Even as Osrona marched upon the Coat to rescue one of their own, there sat another prisoner within the caves meant told hold heretics.
Amongst the younger members of their sect, it was rumored that Emerson had already announced his intentions on sacrificing their remaining prisoner win or lose.

Someone who had fought with the Black Priest prior, in the past.

Fallen at his hands, now.

He found his end at the Obelisk's base.
Rumors circulate that Emerson drained him of his very lifeforce
as the ultimate sacrifice to his Goddess, Naysien.

"Let this serve as a reminder to those heretics who doubt us, and our faith. Naysien will feast, as will we all."
