Some people get hurt. Some people get hurt a lot, like "five six seven lifelong maimings" kind of a lot. Some people need a really strong potion to get rid of that hurt, a potion that other people might argue is wasteful given that the chiron needed to make it could be used for so many other wonderful and spectacular projects.

But some people are selfish. Opal is feeling selfish, today.

She's gonna get a chiron, or die trying.
