"Before I go further into detail, let it be clear that this is not an attempt at overthrowing the Crown.

Unlike Elysia in all their arrogance, my suggestions are merely that; suggestions of change for the better of the City's future.

Should King Isenhardt have the slightest of qualms with its contents, it will be withdrawn immediately and things may stay as they are with no further bravado.

 

Preface out of the way, I will move on.

 

Before the Crown returned to reign, our city handled its government through the means of a council.

Decisions made in the wake of debate and discussion between essential figures within Osrona.

Opinions and inputs of the many rather than that of the one.

 

I am not of that generation, so I cannot with good conscience tell you this system did or didn't work.

Though on paper I am convinced we can create a better version of both our current and the old way.

A version where both a council and the Crown can come together to share the best of pros and eliminate the worst of cons.

 

A coalition of House and Crown.

 

A system where the great Houses of Osrona monitor the Crown and the Crown monitors the Houses.

An opportunity for Osrona's people to have a say in things, even if it isn't the final one.

A chance for the Crown to grow through advice of those with knowledge where His or Hers is lacking.

 

Grimmore, Pelleaux and Astor.

To work together with the Petrakis lineage in the closest of relations.

And, be they a minor House, Gardios as well for their incomparable contributions to the City in recent decades with much thanks to our Stellus.

 

What such a government would precisely look like and how it would function in great detail is a topic for another day.

As long as it brings our King to a moment of consideration, today's goal is accomplished.
