Moonlit Eclipse Festival

Rumors spread across the cities, allegedly originating from a few whispers in cold nights.

About a festival... That will take place in dreadwoods, under a full moon.

As such, forces of dark will be present. Witches, Nethradins, monsters and what not. But oddly, there are promises of sweet food, alcohol and meals.

New faces are particularly welcome to show themselves to the Night of Debauchery. Curious minds of Occultists, Fleshcrafters, aspiring witches, or just outcasts will be rewarded with knowledge and abode that welcomes them.

Brave souls who dare interrupt the festival will face havoc and destruction, it is extremely unlikely that one would survive should they be captured.

The true goal of such festival is unknown, though one thing is known for sure. The Eclipse Coven which had fallen into indefinite stasis is slowly surfacing back to Esshar, and so is Hel Lord's grip on it, along with other patrons of Dark.

As the time for the festival is nigh, nights become colder. Black, harsh winds kick up and seem to be slowly roaming about in the dreadwoods.

The Festival, as per rumors. Was not interrupted by any third party.

Instead, chaos ensued by the festival guests themselves, causing large essence of negativity to gather in the center mass, heart of the Dreadwoods.

Followed by loud incanations of what seemingly was, several witches.

Dark spire of occult shooted above the dreadwoods, piercing through the clouds. Just by looking at it, people could feel sick as they watched all of the mankind's worst mistakes and emotions gather up in one place, working as some sort of beacon, even if just for a few seconds. Which called those who needed it, tempting people to follow their desires, rather than their morality.

Not long after, the lands of dreadwoods would be thrilling with occult energies, after decades of inactivity, the forest was once more... "Alive". Shadows peeked around the corner, visible dark magic ran through the veins of purple-ish soil. The Dark influence, although wasn't as reality twisting as it was decades upon decades ago... Could still influence minds of those who didn't have it fortified by any means. Prodding at their sanity in attempt to drive them away from the side of Light, and embrace their Darkness.

Dreadwoods & The Eclipse Coven indeed are returning, beckoning the scholars who want to study Witchcraft, Fleshcraft and other arts shunned by Orsona and others. Those who are hopeless, those who had lost their faith in the Light, beckoning them to their abode, their... 'Family'.

The moon shines down it's rays, crescent like a sound, silver cleave of a blade.

Bells chime, the Overseer comes with announcement.

"We move past the year of 1905, during this time. We have not been attacked at all, meaning our defenses have had eventually grown back to it's former glory. But to make sure that we celebrate such moment and take a moment to celebrate the lastest of our growth. It's about time... For the Moonlit Eclipse..."

As always, the festival shall be consisting of variety of foods. And perhaps challenges, games. Overall a way to celebrate the pillaging of Orsona. And to mark off a milestone in the progression of Dreadwoods.

Of course, the warnings are said. Any who dares to stop the festival shall be rewarded with a swift death. Therefore one should take great caution.

And last, but not least. The Overseer shall be teaming up with the awakened Sixth Forgemaster of the Dark Forces, Glazarag, and invites everyone to take part in a peculiar project. The Dreadforge project. A faction-centered relic!
