Your mother has been on the run from Osrona since she was eighteen, after she betrayed the city and joined a war against it on behalf of Asphodel. She rose to the position of the Iron Queen's retainer, but eventually wound up fighting the Iron Queen herself in an attempt to save her mother, fleeing the continent for Barsburg after her failure.

She spent all of her teenaged years as a vampiric thrall and most of her adult life as a ghoul, until she was forcibly severed after her fight with Marina Vranovo. While your father is a vampire, she turned her back on the notion of vampirism and the myth of a blissful eternity; you were dissuaded from pursuing vampirism by her.

A devout Celestialist, Silvia always carried a Codex with her, one owned originally by Elias orn Soleis. She was blessed under Biblos, the North Star per her nobility, but for her cosmic magic she attuned to Leo, the Brightest Star.

She was a proficient artificer; her own sword, Solitude's Strangle, remained behind in Esshar when she left the continent.

Proudly Rhoynish, your mother wore her own arm ring, as well as the arm ring of Pu'erh Munin, for all her life.

Originally your mother's retainer, then devout husband, Rowen had followed her wherever she went. In his time in Asphodel, he was made the thrall of Tara Vranovo, then into her ghoul before finally ascending to vampirism just some years after you were born. Devoted to your mother throughout his life, Rowen encourages a deep respect for your mother - and though he'd encourage immortality himself, he's allowed his children the choice in following in his footsteps or not.


A skilled practicioner of chronomancy and of swordplay, Rowen is eager to teach his children many things, from how to swing a sword to how to navigate the tumultuous timestream.

Even as an immortal, Rowen holds true to his Rhoynish upbringing. He still wears his arm ring to this day and encourages his children to take up their silver arm rings at twelve, and then follow through with their rites of passage at nineteen. He oft tells tales that his own parents had told him, of Rhoynish warriors fighting off the oppression they'd faced throughout the ages - and of his own exploits in the defense of his wife.

About you and your life...

- The two children are a set of twins spawning in at 1874. Both are human, but your gender and name are up to you.

- Rowen will be returning to Esshar alongside you, but Silvia will be remaining in Barsburg to take care of your two younger siblings (who will not spawn in). She's still alive, though, and you can contact her via letter.

- You've been stripped of nobility; you are not a ven Pelleaux. That said, if you're interested in a redemption arc, it's highly encouraged.

- Celestialism and the values of Clan Ilian would have been instilled vigorously into you as a child, though whether you pursue cosmic magic is up to you.

- You are blessed with the golden eyes of a Rhoynish and the light blue hair of a Pelleaux (in the range of hex code #2A83E3).

- Your father is a vampire, but ascension is not something your mother would approve of. If you're seeking vampirism, chances are you'll have to find a sire that isn't him.

- That said, you have never once been bitten by your father, nor will you ever be.
