Shadowmire has been destroyed.

The systematic genocide of all tainted meat and all dregs proceeded with little trouble.
As people walk around Esshar, they'd notice a significant decrease in the amount of monsters that roam the land.
Those who returned to Shadowmire to defend it have perished. Those who failed ran for the hills, and remain in hiding until the time comes that they are exposed.
A strange stillness sits over Esshar, and it feels just a bit more empty. And, yet, one thing is certain.
At the war, Queen Marina Vranovo announced the beginning of the Esshar Extermination Plan.
And, as the dust settles... Shadowmire has been destroyed. The cave system has been brought down, making it completely uninhabitable.

The queen announces her victory a day after the slaughter.

The boat on the coast of Asphodel will be re-charted to lead directly to Western Esshar.

A large number of monsters have been systematically purged in a large ethnic cleansing, making Monster-Asphodel relations very poor.

For citizens of Asphodel who are experiencing nightmares or visions of the Primordial, Nyx- ignore them. Such a weak primordial is no threat to Asphodel.

In Shadowmire's place is a destroyed and ruined cave system that is impossible to navigate for most.

Blair Vranovo has partaken of the flesh of Shadowmires' king, and inherited a new power that will further Asphodel's guard.

A new vampire has been sired. The details are murky, but it's expected that hunts will pick up in frequency and ferocity.

Those who would like to seek exemption from the Esshar Extermination Plan are free to enter Asphodel and begin living a sentence as caged meat.

Starfall stands.

The raid for Starfall has resulted in nothing but failure.
And, yet, a declaration of war was made once again, along with an ominous promise.

"When the body of a primordial falls in Osrona's square...
... when blood rains from the heavens, and the sky turns red.
That is when my Esshar Extermination Plan will continue.
This loss is just another declaration of war."

No one is quite sure what she meant by this, but for now-- for a time-- there is peace.
