EVENT SUMMARY:
To some, belief is everything. It shapes their life, and leads many down their path in life. From the brightest acolytes of Eos, to even the adherents of the machine gods of Barsburg. It comes in all shapes and forms, and all spring from a deity.
But not all deities are noble, pure or good willed.
Some do not even exist.
Deep within the darkest corners of Esshar rests a cult founded by one of the rare few Nethradrin that have escaped the pits of Hel. It is there that profane and foul rituals are performed for a god that does not even exist. But the cultists do not know this, for the mere act of worship empowers the foul creature who leads the cult. The creature leads the cult with promises of power and greed, only for their spirits to be drained and forever doomed for the pits of Hel.
It is there, where countless sacrifices are made over an altar, where the blood of believers have coalesced into a single crystal. One that reeks of death and the torment of ages.
It is a crystal Adrian seeks to recover.
