The year is 1756. A propaganda campaign rapidly sweeps the nation, targeting even the farthest reaches of Esshar. After years of radical change in the once-shimmering city, the total overhaul of Osrona's Law Enforcement system is complete... and what better way to introduce it than a good old-fashioned recruitment drive?

Quote:"We are at your service!
The New Osronan military police are here for you!
Where can you bide your time, and make right with what you think should be?
Where can you learn the torque, the stomp and the gallop? Pass it on to everyone you meet!
Make all your dreams come true!
Join the Authority today!"

It's oddly lighthearted and idealistic, especially given the negative rumors already circulating about the Authority. Perhaps their campaign is meant to dash those vile rumors. Maybe they're trying to clean up their image. Or - quite possibly - they're just being facetious. Who knows? Don't blindly trust those nasty rumors! Sign up and find out for yourself!

Besides, the Authority might be known for its strong tendency to shut down all dissidents and opposing speech... but according to the press, it's all for the good of the city! Indeed, the Authority works tirelessly around the clock all for the sake of the people and the city they love and serve; so much so that anyone who doesn't love the city as much as they do is sure to be quickly re-educated!

In addition to their primary duty of keeping the peace, they serve as the personal guard to the Imperator and Magistrate. While this may seem like a tall order for an organization which boasts only a modest amount of members, the Authority is staffed by only the most capable in all of Esshar (or so they say); if the sheer quality of its members isn't enough, ample access to performance-enhancing drugs and top-of-the-line equipment is sure to be enough to help them defend Osrona from any outside threats - and any threats from within, too.

It's hierarchy seems to be dictated by the insignia worn on their service caps, ranging from lesser metals to rarer ones.
