Eurydice Sae Grimmore-Hargrave
Born to the disgraced Lord Regulus Grimmore and the High Lady Asta Hargrave of Myllenoris, Eurydice Sae Grimmore-Hargrave is a red-haired child with pointed ears. Through her father, she possesses the blessing of the stars, and a natural affinity towards cosmic magic. Through her mother, she bears the blessings of Aschea, including being able to see spirits naturally.From both, she bears a hefty legacy.
Regulus Grimmore was a Lord of Osrona. He served as a Diplomat, and helped broker a peace with Myllenoris through an arranged marriage with Asta Hargrave, a peace that broke during a wedding reception for King Alexander Petrakis II and Nebula Winterbourne, where Regulus chose Asta over his duty and became considered a traitor to Osrona. During the War of Cabbages and Kings, he served as Lord Chancellor of Myllenoris, and was the mind behind the original concept of the current Essharan Coalition. When Eurydice was seven years old, he underwent the secretive Rite of the Chrysalis and became a Teraphim, only to die the day that Osrona was sacked, the terrible side effect of Asta's own death. Throughout his time parenting Eurydice, he was patient and kind, and while a father who for much of Eurydice's early years was very busy and often a Kingdom away, he never gave her any reason to feel anything except loved when he was with her.
Asta Hargrave was the High Lord of Myllenoris and head of Aschea's Faith after the death of the first High Lord, Randor Dinendir. Eurydice is the only child of Asta and Regulus' arranged marriage, but Eurydice has a few living step-siblings that she may have been introduced to throughout her life. For the first seven years of her life, Eurydice was kept within the Tower of Myllenoris and at Asta's side. A sheltered childhood, where she would mostly see and meet Teraphim. A conscious decision to not immediately bring her into Aschea's Faith was made, to allow her to choose her own beliefs. She died the same day as Eurydice's father at the hands of Alexander Petrakis, and rose from her death as a vengeful spirit that devastated Osrona before being defeated.
After their deaths, Eurydice was taken care of by her elder half sister, Amalia Hargrave, and High Lord Finn Ghede.
At first, Finn had been a little distant, especially during the time where Asta and Regulus had been around to raise their own child. He saw Eurydice as something like a younger sister, and once he and Amy were asked to take care of her, his outlook changed given he now had to become her guardian. What small tidbits on Wayfinding Regulus would have wanted to show Eurydice were freely explained to her by the other accomplished teleporter in Myllenoris. Finn did his duty in teaching the young Eurydice all about the Valeborne as well and wouldn't have let her lose sight of the future her parents had in mind when they were alive.
Amy was attentive, supportive and nurturing. She would have helped her accomplish anything she put her mind to. Perhaps more importantly, she would have tried to push on the idea for Eurydice to visit at least one outside sovereign state. She still remembers Regulus having said on multiple occasions that he wanted to take her travelling. For the most part, she was allowed to grow, experience and flourish within the world on her own. Though Amy made it a point to always be there for her to offer her advice on situations and things that seemed to bother her.
