A grand day of combat is to be held in the Colosseum, and all magi are invited to attend. The arena is off the coast of Esshar, where the laws of The Three Kingdoms do not apply; leave your disputes at the entrance, or settle it on the sands. Spill as much blood and drink as you desire, but do not kill. The victor shall be commemorated as the Champion of 1731.

This tournament is sponsored and hosted by the Quarts Company, a wealthy merchant guild that often hosts high end luxury events. It is heavily guarded.

Friday 6PM EST, 3rd of April

THE SHADOW GAMES
It's the midst of Autumn and a special time for Esshar as we transition to the Winter season, which represents death and an end to things, in preparation for the great renewal to come. A time for remembering the fallen on Hallows Eve, where the tribesmen of Moxtli host ritualistic ceremonies, the people of Osrona gather in prayer within their churches, and the Fireblooded embark on pilgrimages. No matter where you are in the world, now is a time to reflect and pay your respects to what was lost, to find solace knowing that the actions of the past pave the way for the future.

And thus, in celebration of this, the Quarts Company are hosting a series of gladiatorial challenges to all able magi, publishing the feats and retelling the battles across the country. Capturing a great many beasts for the arena, for a price of 20,000c you and five others can take on a series of trials. The more difficult the triumph, the greater the reward, and the applause of the audience that fills out the stadium grounds...
Quote:OOC: This is a light hearted 'monster bash' halloween themed event. You pay for a ticket (20k coins - DM me to arrange one), gather a group of 6, and fight three stages, one after the other. Each person rolls for a reward at the end that scales to the tier of challenge they defeated; if you beat all 3, you'll end up getting more rewards. The group gets 1 Quarts Award at the end which is a variant of the mystery chest, given to whoever buys the ticket.

The event should last roughly an hour, meant to be fast paced, but if people want to take their time with roleplaying that's absolutely fine too.
