Years after being built, engineers discovered that the city of Alabastre was on unstable grounds. With a decision to face the then-Queen of the City of Secrets, Parsley, choose alongside the elders of the city to preserve as much of it as possible. Using the knowledge hidden deep within the city’s spire a dozen of powerful magi willingly sunk the entire City of Secrets.
As the years passed the city’s name and fate was obscured, leaving only a handful of individuals to even remember it existed in the first place and a single man to know of its precise location. Treasures collected by the Lorespeaker, his friends, and his family were all tucked away in the depths of Alabastre’s remains, awaiting those dedicated enough to risk their lives in pursuit of knowledge. In the deepest parts of the city’s spire lies the greatest treasure of them all: The Eye of Alabastre. Shrouded in mystery, it is rumored that only those who meet with it eye-to-eye will understand its purpose.
In recent times talk of the City of Secrets can be heard once more; from hopeful Osronan Cadets to determined Achyon researchers, from honorbound Fireblooded Acolytes to spiritually-aware Moxtli tribesmen, from treasure-hunting pirates to dragon-hunting slayers.
Rumors in the air speak of a disturbance at the bottom of the sea...
(OOC Note: A second post will be made to announce the exploration of Alabastre to be open to all. Event requests will have to be made after the second post. Every event in Alabastre will be a fairly lethal CoD that may call for retreat. It is suggested you do not attend these events if you are not RPL 200 at the very least. These are meant to be explored in large groups of six to eight as a faction effort. More details will be attend on how the event requests will function in the second post.)
