Character: Kassius Astalet
Event: The Forgotten Chateau
Responsiveness: 10/10. Quick narrates, never felt like I was waiting overly long, responsive and patient to the small issues like people not being teleported. Great stuff.
Balance: 7.5/10. The first two bosses felt really good! A little on the easier side, but I've no problem with that. The third and final boss felt a bit janky to me. It was always difficult to tell where the black holes were being placed due to the nature of them. If there's one, you can kinda keep your eye on it, but three or four whilst a ton of spells are flying? It's hard to see. Overall, enjoyable!
Storytelling: 10/10. Absolutely fantastic. The direction of having us search several individual rooms felt really neat. I loved the puzzles, and felt really pleased with myself that the innocuous clock - easily dismissed by some - had served as the answer, it felt the exact right amount of obvious and not. The bookshelf one, which I didn't get, also seemed really cool! Just great stuff overall.
Fairness: 10/10. Past the final boss? No issues, I enjoyed stuff! Never felt like I was punished just for being curious.
Overall: 9/10. I really enjoyed the event! Things felt very cohesive, it didn't take too long, I always felt engaged. Fantastic stuff, and I'm really looking forwards to participating in another of OBC's events.
