The Annual Paintathon
2108AC
After an attempt in keeping his paintings small scale and secretive, the young Valmonte painter
has once again decided to announce his newest series of paintings: The Yellow Period.
In celebration of this, he’s also announced personal requests: If you have a personal request,
River will seek to attain it, though results will always vary based on inspiration and the artist’s eye.
All personal requests are 10,000 coins.
The Yellow Period paintings are as follows:
Sunrises Over Meranthe
"A painting that uses several strokes and various hues of yellow in order to achieve its desired effect.
It's the image of the sun in all of its warm and beautiful glory gently rising into the
sky, with oranges peeking out above it as clouds take on the color of the sun itself.
This is the first work within River Valmonte's Yellow Period."

Sanskriti in Yellow
"This particular art deco piece is obviously inspired by Sanskriti which are commonly found in the
wilderness. These yellow flowers are said to always turn in the direction of the sun, as if welcoming
the warmth and light with open arms. This piece is no different, with several Sanskriti
facing towards the canvas. This is another piece within River Valmonte's Yellow Period."

The Monster Inside
"Inside all of us there are monsters, whether or not we wish to view them or accept them. Even
the smallest heinous acts can be a monster waiting to strike. This piece,
done in watercolor, seems to take inspiration from this idea.
A yellow based monster stands idle, and every stroke of the brush done with paint seems to
accentuate just how seemingly innocent and yet potentially powerful this monster can become.
A piece within River Valmonte's Yellow Period collection."

Faint Memories
"This painting invokes faint memories of a distant childhood and happier times. Yet, it also holds a
tinge of sadness, akin to a feeling bad for a child who lost its parent or someone close to it. Yet with
every sad story there lays a method of recovery and an understanding story of
redemption, and that is precisely what this watercolor painting reflects in its glossy yellows.
Part of River Valmonte's Yellow Period series."

As always, if you wish to purchase a piece or even attempt to make a custom request,
either write to River directly, or find him within Meranthe at large!
As a note: These paintings will only be available until year’s end.
Once the year is up, they will be gone forever! Buy while you can!
