And so the fifth year of the Castle-Village came, a stronghold out of mind for most of Meranthe, more than likely, but far from an abandoned one.

For this year would mark an emergence into the public eye even further.

---

• The Tribunal Of the Everyman rises, an attempt at a return of the faithful of the Twelve Saints as an organized sect within the Land of Aemir, under a new guise and with a new doctrine of its own.
  Where Redemption awaits the striving penitents, a hand held out to help guide to the Light of Salvation.
  

• The Goldlight Order remains, but with a new call for willing volunteers to undertake the oath of service in this new stage of its life under one of its many Wings, not simply a militant order but the one that administrates and protects The Vigil.
   And what a better time, than with the upcoming oath-taking ceremony?
  

• The Southern Gauntlet has been announced, in cooperation with the Kingdom of Fortune, a grand competition and festivity in three parts, hosting not only two tournaments, but a closing ball as well.
  

• A wide selection of upcoming events, gatherings and lessons are announced to be in the works, hosted not only by the residents of the Settlement, but on the behalf of other individuals and Kingdoms.
  Anyone seeking this same benefit, to host anything of note within the boundaries of The Vigil are advised to seek out The Knight-Commander, in person or through letter.
  

• With the conclusion of the Volunteer Aid given to the Kingdom of Fortune, The Silver Auxiliary Legion is not only considered a resounding success due to the numbers gathered, even if the defense failed, but also no longer of need till they are called upon once again.
  All Legionnaires have been officially paid for their service, and have been dismissed from active duty with honors, after their singular tour of duty.
  

• But it is not only ongoing events that mark this year for The Order and its Stronghold, but the achievements of the entire year, including a ritual of grand proportions in cooperation with the Holy State of Aphros.
  

• The announcement of a residential district expansion has been declared, individual housing will soon come to the settlement, to supplement both the Garrison quarters, and the Inn quarters currently available.
  

• The bountiful fields surrounding what once was the Old City of Aphros, and now where Martyrs´ Vigil stands, endure after the Grand Channeling of The Sanctioner, with the intervention of several parties. 
  The yearly harvest is a grand one, as the large-scale wine economy of the Settlement flourishes with the aid of its residents, from the youngest musician to the oldest worker, everyone is doing their part.
  
  
• Artificers and talented Magi are still being sought for, to serve The Order and its Logistics wing in achieving several projects of note for settlement development, including but not limited to the following project names unveiled to the public: [The Great Bombard, The Steel Legionnaire, Sentinel Plate, and The Shield of Valor.]
  

• Though it is not all positives, as with a closing call, The Order declares that Lyco Corbin is barred from entry or passage through the nearby border surrounding the lands of the Settlement, for the sake of public safety after a recent incident. 
  The same restrictions are not held against others of The Bastion.
