Something has come to my attention, and I feel it is in need of a change. Out of everything in Eternia, I enjoy making things. Whether it's a faith, a faction, an item or a wonder. I like to see things come from nothing, and be able to enjoy the fruits of my labors. Unfortunately, I've not had that satisfaction in a little while. I have been struggling with motivation to play Meranthe because of this particular issue. I’ve found that the item application process is egregiously slow. There is one application that I placed on September 26th 2023, that has yet to be answered. I know this is connected to a deceased character, but thinking about this in earnest; it is hard for me to want to continue with crafting. Putting in that effort, twelve logs and large blurbs to accompany them.
Only for it to sit in limbo unending, is not a good feeling. I would very much like a denial, or an answer if I possibly could.

I understand that there is an incredible backlog of applications, but I am hoping that this could be a cautionary tale. It is really difficult for me to want to continue my characters, as I often find my IC entirely stunted while waiting for these items. I do hope that something can be done, as it has been a slow decline for me. Each time I put up an application I dread it, mainly because I feel like it’s a dead end. Like the resource or item will never be accepted. I am unsure if this is a feeling others share, or something that has driven a stake into their motivation.
I certainly hope it hasn’t. I will be honest, if change does not happen soon- I’m unsure if this will continue to be the game for me. I often buy my sprites from local artists, and pay good cash so they can make something incredible. Two of these sprites, I'm unsure I'll get to see integrated into the game. Unfortunately, the application above is one of them. And the application below, is a resource needed to make the item itself. Either way, I spent about ninety dollars on these sprites I'm unsure anyone will get to enjoy.
