Collection of Observations
#15
Of Spiritmancy

-Fau[Redacted]
Spirits are a part of any existance that lives.

"Ash-dur talah il'mare"
Some of these spirits are known as wisps, able to be summoned from plants. A wisp of a plant represents the plant itself, including its desires and wants. One such wisp... reside within my own potted flower, a barely visible body pulsating in a green light. Only able to be seen as [Redacted] shared it's mana with me.

However, even though I can no longer see it, at least now I can feel it's prescence. The world... feels so much more alive.

Note: Take care of your plants better.

Regarding the spirit realm itself, it's a mirror, in the simplest terms. A non-physical dominion which seemingly overlaps with our own, parodying its functionalities. Upon the death of any living thing, they'll become intertwined with the spiritual; resting for an indefinite amount of time.

'To correct my past statement, every biological construct is not acquainted with a 'Soul,' but a Spirit. The aforementioned terminology has not been altered, as its containments still uphold their validity.'

'Regarding the spirit, or its proper name, the essence, is the non-interactable exterior of the spirit. A definite half of the self, alongside the miraculous archive for the life. Upon death, this archive is retrieved and assimilated into the greater spirit, the meddling of the divine protecting every past, or current, lifetime.

Curiously, if seemingly 'disappointed' in death, the spirit will retreat to the cosmos, denying itself the opportunity of reincarnation. Despite the complexity of the spirit, its greater whole can be led astray by a singular essence nonetheless. Their existence in coincidence with the native residents of the Spirit realm.

- The Elder Fae.
- Alternative spirits who've refused to leave the grasp of Yggdrasil.
- Creatures that exist beyond the mortal comprehension for the time being.

As their world parodies, or more accurately, mirrors our own, nature is a constant; the simplest foundations in the material realm having their appropriate representations in the spiritual.

From the smallest pebble, the most linear droplet of water, to gigantic mountains that've existed for millions of years.

The Nethradin are manipulative creatures, striking the emotionally, and or physically brittle, offering them exchanges for power, wealth, and other miscellaneous desires. T[Redacted] has advised me to avoid interacting with these creatures. It'd be best to follow its advice.

The actualization of demons are confirmed through biological methods, rather forms of divination as I had thought beforehand.'

- TA[Redacted]'S EDIT.

- All things that live held a portion of their being that was spiritual in nature. Only those with some degree of sapience carried a Soul, however. Such is what allowed those to form an Essence rather than a Wisp that would be found in lesser animals.

- The Essence was certainly interactable. Those of Witch Covens are imbued with the ability to pull of pieces of such things for their own works, as well as manipulating one's own Essence in the arts of the Psionic.

- The roaming Essence discontent with its demise would not roam indefinitely. Given time, they will come to terms with their death and return to the cycle of reincarnation, their time led astray complete.

TELEPATHY/COMMUNICATION.

'The method of communications utilized to reach the spirit realm are varied. Most commonly, spiritmancers affirm their communions through the empowerment of the physical, bleeding their words into the cosmos. As T[Redacted] has advised, however, I shall project my voice beyond the linear reigns of the physical, exchanging conversations with their kin through the evocation of my essence.'

'Receiving their word is complicated, but with my eventual development, I shall perceive them as T[Redacted] itself can.'
