Esme.
Garret.

Even though it may have been expected of me, I feel the need to say it—I failed.
Some say that failure isn't fatal—but for me, when I see what my failure have led to, I can't think anything but that—a fatal failure, a mistake that should've never been.
And it's all because of me.
My inaction.
My lack of purpose.
Conviction—if there ever was any.
In retrospect, I can only wonder how far downhill things can go.
But—I can't think like that anymore. There are people that need me.
People that need to be saved.
The regrets that haunt me, drive me forward.
I want to change—for the better.
I want to change the world—for the better.
And so, as I pray—Rosabella, Esme, Garret.
I will correct the failure that causes my regrets.
I will become someone worthy of your kindness.
I will—save Meranthe.
