The Spirits Awakening




Within the very heart of Delphina an attempt to contact a spirit that resides within a magical blade took place.
Said to be wielded against the forces of evil that might harm the people and land of Meranthe.
Though what comes next was unexpected but the spirit does wake.

The story begins with Edward Aubreen the wielder of the blade and Natalie Melodia an spiritmancer who
would help rouse the spirit from it's slumber so that it might judge its owner.









What came next was promising though the spirit yet refused to exit it's slumber.










And then from nothing the veil between this world and the realm of spirits seemed closer together
as the slumbering spirit within the sword woke and made itself known.






















But after that exchange The Radiant of Enarr seemed to be filled with condemnation with her words.














What followed was a struggle involving all those who had gathered to watch! Even myself, I was made to fight against the powerful spirit, to quell it's fury and help prove our worthiness and show our will to fight. Though it all came down to a duel between the Spirit itself and Edward. One I have tried to capture for all to see.












With that, the blade was awakened. A sign of a new age of heroes, a true calamity for evil? We will have to see what happens next.
But today at least Meranthe does feel a little safer and the people of Delphinia galvanized in their purpose as each and every one gathered that day shared in the victory for mankind.
