"For the girl was lost,
Within the city of snow she hated the frost,
Crystalline slippers tapped against the floor,
As she sought to run out, through the castle's door.
She bore within her a distaste for the kingdom of ice,
So still, so stagnant, thus none may rise,
And all those within had no light in their eyes,
So the girl began to plot a fiery surprise.
With her slippers slipped off did she burn it all down,
'til the cinders of what was left stained her beautiful gown,
Ella, Ella, now covered in cinder,
Bring an end like wildfire to this eternal winter.
For stagnation brings no revelry, no fun, no joy,
Thus do I bequeath upon you this world as your toy,
Make fun, make way, let them all know as you play,
That your very life shall bring color to this world so grey."
Is that not what you said as I was born, Father?
I still remember it so vividly. It rings within my mind every day, ever since then.
A creed that I decided to keep to, no matter what.
After all, that's what I was made for, no?
And yet- it was not me that brought change to this world.
Nor did I revel in it.
There was no fun.
There was no joy.
There was no more Father.
The story ended, Father. The story I didn't want to end more than anything. More than my own existence.
The story of 'You'.
The God of Revelry. The Sin of Gluttony.
My Creator. My Father.
And left within your wake were feelings I could never describe.
Such pain in my chest.
An ache I'd never be capable of describing.
You made me in the perfect image of Humanity,
And I suppose, in a way, you made me too perfect.
The same flaws of Human Emotion seem to be dragging me down now.
A perfect caricature of Man.
I remember his face. How could I ever forget it?
Jokul. The True Giant. Nephilim of Amier.
Were those not the names they called out to him?
Called him a 'hero'? Just as you were the 'villain'?
I have all of eternity now, just as you designed.
An undying keeper of your will and speaker of your voice.
I'll bide my time. I'll grow to ascend, just like you.
And in the end, I'll do exactly as you asked, Father.
I'll burn this twisted fairytale to the ground.
I'll bleed dry their Hero, and allow the Kingdom of Stagnation he rose to fall.
From the ashes, I'll rewrite this story anew,
And create a world for all to enjoy.
The screams of amusement.
The revelry of bloodshed.
The enjoyment of their suffering.
The end of an Era.
I am Cinderella.
I am the Daughter of Gluttony.
I will make this world mine.
