New Moon Rising

The city of Nyt'hjem had been unusually quiet following the aftermath of the genocide and destruction of New Dexia. But while some would attempt to ascend to their rightful place and others held festivities across the lands, while new wars were declared..The underground city had finally stirred. Caravans and members of the tribe could be seen fleeing the caverns in haste, moving across the land with all they could manage to carry. Many of them, unsure of where the road would take them. 

Following their departure, a rumble could be felt within the earth. The point of origin, the city of Nyt'hjem itself. Roaring across the land, the tremor could be felt throughout the entire cave system, stretching all the way from the Final Frontier to the caves below the mountain where Vdalion once resided. Not much was known of what set off such an event within the city, but the last of those fleeing told tales of witnessing the Moon Chosen, Liviana Na'hrem, herself setting off the catastrophic explosion that would ultimately leave the city in ruin.

Some of those that traveled the roads spoke of a new beginning, that this wasn't the end. Others claimed it was an act of pure madness. Whatever the truth, remained largely unknown to most. While some went their separate ways, to destinations unknown, there were others that converged and remained loyal to their cause, ready to unveil the next chapter in their lives.

With death, comes life.
